As a manager representing Charlie’s the first thing is your appearance. Male managers are to dressed in a dress shirt, jacket and slacks. Female managers may wear, a skirt, dress, slacks and blouse or a pants suit if they wish.
Managers are to uphold all standards and procedures that have are in place.
Managers need to fully knowledgeable with software and tools that are used on a daily basis. This includes but not limited to Aloha POS, RESY reservation system, music and video systems, HVAC as well as our telephone system. Excel spreadsheets and any other software that is used on a daily basis.
You must be fully knowledgeable of all menus. That includes all food menus, liquor, beer wine and cocktail menus as well.
Be sure that all staff is on time, in proper uniform and that all uniforms are satisfactory to company standards. That means no stained or dirty uniforms. Uniforms that are wrinkled are also unacceptable for staff to wear.
Insure the cleanliness and help with the maintenance of the restaurant. Bringing any issues with things that are not working properly to upper management.
While on the floor you must lead and train staff. Guide staff through service standards to ensure the highest standard of service that has been created at Charlie’s.
Address guest inquiries, questions and complaints. Resolve any issues with guests. Our goal is 100% guest satisfaction.
At certain times you will be responsible for checking for and making gift cards as well as ensuring that all reservation notes are checked and followed through with staff.
Required to check out servers and bartenders with our standardized procedures.
Depending on your shift you will required to write a synopsis of service for the day to be sent to managers and the owners.
