MISSION

  • The Industrial Engineer is responsible of industrial process development.

  • He/she manages industrial process by respecting the budget, timing, quality and product specification.

  • He/she implement lean manufacturing and continuously improve on productivity.

  • He/she has to follow company safety procedure and always wear required PPE during work in company.


 



Responsibilities & Activities


Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities




  • Provide industrial scenario and CAPEX, development cost during requisition phase.

  • Develop the design of the product with the product application engineer and manage DFMEA to ensure the     manufacturability.

  • Define the process planning with the project manager.

  • Create and follow the CAPEX Budget, which shall be validated and approved by the industrial and the project manager.

  • Prepare and manage prototype trial in order to deliver prototypes in best manner in terms of timing and cost, and make the trial synthesis with the process design department.

  • Organize a kick-off meeting and design review in order to agree on the specifications.

  • Manage and release PFMEA with the plant Rep’, the core team, and the experts to avoid quality issues.

  • Ensure a monthly follow-up of the progress and efficiency of the industrial actions managed by the plant Rep’ with respect to the planning, fulfillment of the deliverables, trial organization, and the budget follow-up.

  • Check all the actions linked with the PFMEA with the plant Rep’, the core team, and the experts to avoid quality issues.

  • React to the variation (to propose, to alert) in order to respect the Quality, Cost, Readiness, Timing commitment, the Process unchangeable, safety, and ergonomic norms.

  • Prepare and manage trials in order to deliver good parts respecting timing and cost, and make the trial syntheses with the process design dept. and machinery design dept. 

  • Make an action plan and follow up based on the trial results. 

  • Organize the responsibility transfer to the plant Rep’.

  • According to the requirement of plant, ensure the technical support for productivity, quality, and process problem.

  • Participate in the analysis of quality and safety issue.

  • Participate in the creation of new training module and POAI standard.

  • Must successfully complete all POAI required training.

  • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.

  • Give training to junior IE

  • Support IE manger to analyze industrial scenario

  • Support IE manger to do Industrial quotation, but must be validate by Industrial manager

  • Involve in IE synergy meeting (If available), to create/ improve some standard documents.

  • He/she have authority to stop machines in case of immediate risk.

  • Consciously accept safety training, actively participate in safety activities and comply with safety regulations;

  • Report unsafe status and behaviors in time, and actively participate in safety improvement.

  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.

  • Other things assigned by line manager.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS



 


Personal Background



  • Bachelor degree major in engineering.

  • Preferably minimum 3 years’ experience of engineering and process in Auto industry.

  • Lean manufacturing background is preferred.


 


Job Technical skills



  • Good knowledge of blow molding, finishing and assembly process.

  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic Knowledge, automatism knowledge.

  • Basic knowledge of metal material (Ex: aluminum, steel, bronze…), manufacturing, treatment.

  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (Solid works (preferred) or INVENTOR, Auto cad).

  • Program management, Planning, Risk, cost management knowledge and experience.

  • Knowledge of TS16949.


 


Job Soft skills



  • Fluent English level, French is preferred.

  • Good communication skill with internal & external interface.

  • Strong trouble shooting skill.
