    Qualifications:
     

    1. Master's Degree required.  Must hold Ohio Principal's Certificate/License in appropriate grade band(s) of the administrative position.
    2. Experience demonstrated in school leadership activities.
    3. A minimum of three years' experience as an administrator.
    4. Knowledge, understanding and successful experience working with and in the implementation of the Ohio Improvement Process.
    5. Knowledge of current trends and developments in education.
    6. Possess exemplary leadership qualities and strong work ethic.
    7. Demonstrates an exceptional attendance record.
    8. OTES 2.0 credentialed, OPES preferred.
    9. Successful BCII and FBI background check.


    Additional Desired Qualifications:
     

    1. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    2. Experience and training in Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
    3. Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.


    Duties:
     

    1. Assists in the establishment and achievement of both academic and non-academic objectives for the school.
    2. Provides leadership in planning, implementing and evaluating instructional programs.
    3. Represent the building administrative team on school and district committees as assigned.
    4. Manage specific academic departments as assigned.
    5. Assist staff in working with individual needs.
    6. Evaluate personnel and assist in the determination of goals to improve performance.
    7. Assist in the direction, supervision, and evaluation of building instructional program.
    8. Actively participate in and facilitate instructional rounds, providing feedback, as appropriate.
    9. Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the quality of the instructional program by being responsible for teacher implementation of the curriculum.
    10. Assists in providing the leadership necessary to ensure that each teacher is following the Ohio's Learning Standards.
    11. Assists in the planning and implementation of programs for the health, safety and welfare of all students in the building.
    12. Supervises extra and co-curricular activities in the school.
    13. Enforces and establishes disciplinary procedures which allows due process to the rights of students; familiarizes students, staff, and parents with the disciplinary procedures; hears and acts on behavior problems referred to the principals' office.
    14. Assists in the communication between the school and the community, serves as liaison therein.
    15. Assists in the development and presentation of parent information, conferences and family engagement programs.
    16. Facilitate and actively participate in professional growth activities.
    17. Supervise student lunches and afterschool academic school programs.
    18. Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education.
    19. Perform all other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may, from time to time, be assigned by the building Principal,  Superintendent or his/her designee.


    Salary: Salary Table C, Less than 52 weeks, 224 days annually

    *Employment upon verification of proper certificate, BCI/FBI background checks and all other pre-employment requirements are met.
