Occupational Therapist (OT)

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) in Hudson County, NJ. 

This position requires you to conduct on-site visits on a case-by-case basis, including travel to private residences, group homes, and other community settings as required.

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence and enhancing daily life skills through personalized interventions.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Provide interventions to improve fine motor skills, self-care, and adaptive techniques.
  • Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and modifications.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to create a supportive care network.
  • Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and educate caregivers on home-based strategies.

Qualifications of the Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid state OT license.
  • Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Services may be provided in clinics, homes, schools, or community settings.
