Summary:
We are seeking an Attorney that will be responsible for handling litigation matters across the firm's specialized practice areas and will be responsible for handling most aspects of litigation, including legal drafting, handling discovery requests and responses, conducting legal research, written discovery, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration and trial preparation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This attorney may have supervisory responsibilities. The attorney may provide direction and work coordination to support personnel and junior team members as necessary to facilitate effective case management and litigation support.
Responsibilities:
- Handles & conducts matters statewide.
- A skilled working knowledge of federal and state civil procedure.
- Flexibility, composure, and the ability to prioritize and handle time sensitive tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
- The ability to remain composed and professional under stressful circumstances
- Commitment to ethical and confidentiality requirements
- Solid client service skills
- Provides oral advocacy in various legal settings
- Writing and drafting legal documents
Education & Experience:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a strong academic record preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of current experience working in a Trial Law Firm preferred
- Background & knowledge specializing in the firm's specialized practice areas
- Admitted to practice in the state of Florida
