Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet- 5111 Transit Rd. Depew, NY 14043
Employment Type: Full Time Monday-Friday
Pay: $17-$19/hr based on skillset and experience
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Custodian to help keep our dealership clean, organized, and presentable. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining a neat and safe environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with basic plumbing upkeep, including unclogging drains and addressing minor leaks when needed
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and minor repairs
- Clean and maintain showroom floors, offices, restrooms, and service areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure waste is properly disposed of
- Assist with seasonal duties such as light snow removal and outdoor cleanup
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Keep entryways, sidewalks, and customer-facing areas clean and presentable
- Support general facility upkeep, including reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks
- Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment and following safety guidelines
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented setting
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs as needed
