Job Description:

Are you a positive, compassionate, and curious professional with strong writing, critical thinking, and communication skills? If so, a Foster Care Review Specialist (FCRO System Oversight Specialist) position may be the right fit for you.

The Nebraska Foster Care Review Office (FCRO) is seeking dedicated individuals to join a caring team committed to creating meaningful change, improving outcomes, and supporting hopeful futures for children and families involved in Nebraska’s child welfare system.


 

In this role, you will evaluate case information, facilitate review meetings, prepare legal reports, collect and analyze data, and collaborate with a wide range of child welfare partners to support accountability and positive outcomes for youth and families.

This is a temporary assignment with the Nebraska Foster Care Review Office, anticipated to continue through September 30 (9/30).


 

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, mental health care, education, criminal justice or other closely related area AND two years of performing case management or case review functions OR a higher degree in a related field of study.
