Account Executive – SmartZip

We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will work with real estate professionals across the United States to help them grow their businesses using data-driven marketing and seller targeting strategies.
This is a high-velocity, full-cycle sales role responsible for managing inbound opportunities, prospecting new business, running product demonstrations, and closing deals. Our sales cycle moves quickly, creating strong opportunities for motivated sales professionals to build a pipeline and generate consistent commission income.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly revenue targets through a combination of inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
- Sell SmartZip’s predictive seller targeting and marketing solutions to real estate professionals nationwide.
- Conduct discovery calls, run product demonstrations, and guide prospects through the full sales cycle.
- Manage a high-velocity pipeline and accurate activity tracking within CRM systems.
- Follow up quickly with inbound leads and consistently develop new opportunities through outbound outreach.
- Partner with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition for new customers.
- Stay informed on real estate industry trends and agent marketing strategies.
Success Metrics
Account Executives are measured on:
- New Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) closed against quota
- SQL-to-customer conversion rates
- Pipeline generation and follow-up discipline
- Sales cycle efficiency and pipeline management
A Typical Day
- Run discovery calls and product demonstrations that uncover agent goals and clearly demonstrate how Smartzip helps them win more listings
- Maintain strong pipelines through both inbound lead management and proactive prospecting
- Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects, answering questions, and ensuring opportunities continue progressing through the sales process.
- Operate with urgency and consistently move opportunities toward close

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of sales experience in B2B, B2C, or service-based industries preferred
- Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and discipline
- Ability to work independently in a remote sales environment
- Experience selling to small business owners or entrepreneurs is a plus
What We Offer
- Base Salary: $50,000 ($24.00 Hourly)
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 – $180,000+ based on performance
