The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Master’s Level Clinician to join our START team. The START (Stimulant treatment and Recovery Team) at CHD is looking for a clinician who wants to help individuals experiencing a Stimulant Use disorder. Our team is at the forefront of change within the Substance Use community. This unique program treats the mind and body. We are looking for a like-minded, motivated, and team player to join us. This is a full-time on-site position located in Springfield, MA.
Your role as a Clinician:
This position requires working with individual clients in session and running multiple groups throughout the week. A must is having an understanding of individuals who are experiencing the SU disorder without judgement or bias. Flexibility is a must as we are client focused and work with helping them find their own path. Peer experience is welcomed.
Pay range $62,000-$68,000 is based on unlicensed and/or licensure held.
Responsibilities:
Clinician works to fully engage clients in the treatment alliance. Clinician performs individual, and/or group treatment to help clients improve their presenting symptoms and problems
- Clinician recognizes and responds as needed to protect the safety and well-being of clients including mandated reporting, referring for crisis evaluations, higher levels of care, and managing crises.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to enhance client success.
- Consistently meet billing and documentation deadlines to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of your field.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
- Lived experience, or has a specialty/interest in working with this unique population
- Experience working with diverse populations such as but not limited to, un-homed, LGBTQIA, underserved communities, and indigenous individuals.
- Eligibility for credentialing by MassHealth and licensure in the state of MA.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with competence in electronic health records.
