Accounts Receivable Specialist 

IMCD US is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full accounts receivable cycle while partnering with internal teams to support customers and minimize credit risk. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values strong customer service and process improvement.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing credit risk for the company and will work as a team with other credit specialists to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work in conjunction with sales, customer service, supply chain, and the accounting department to effectively and efficiently meet our customers’ and principals’ expectations while keeping our credit risk low and partner with other team members to explore opportunities for process improvements while instilling company core values into the day-to-day operations of the department. 

Successful candidates will be responsible to: 
Performs full cycle accounts receivable 
Daily collection calls 
Credit releases 
Account research and analysis 
Setting credit limits 
Maintaining an accurate ageing 
Credit application review 
Provides reports and metrics on receivables 
Works on projects as assigned 

Skills

Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner 
Ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally 
Ability to multitask and switch focus quickly 
Ability to think independently 
Deadline-driven, detailed oriented, and conscientious 
Strong organizational skills 
Must possess the ability to think strategically 
Proficiency in common computer programs, including Microsoft Office; Proficiency in Excel a must 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma 

Desired Qualifications
Associate degree in accounting 
CBA and/or CBF 
Experience in a fast-paced environment

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility. 

Work Environment
This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.   

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.   

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
