Job Description

Specialized Reading Instructor, ESY Program


POSITION OVERVIEW


Seeking Wilson Reading Instructor, Orton Gillingham Instructor, and/or LiPS instructor to provide specialized reading services to students in grades k-12 who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:



  • Advanced planning of curriculum 

  • Communicating with parents

  • Coordinating services with related service providers and learning center teachers

  • Writing progress reports at conclusion of program


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required

  • Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment


SCHEDULE:



  • July 6, 2026 - August 13, 2026

  • 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday (Hours and schedule are dependent on caseload)

  • Additional one to days of training prior to start of program

  • Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
