- Part-time, for placement in lecturer pool, subject to availability of funding and actual staffing requirements
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas of social work:
- Social work practice with individuals, groups, and/or communities and organizations
- Social welfare policy
- Research
- Human behavior and the social environment
- Children and families
- Mental health
- Health
- Gerontology
- Substance abuse
- Social work history
- General social work practice
- To teach non-practice classes: Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited school or university
- To teach practice classes: Master's degree in social work from an accredited school or university plus two years of post-master's practice experience in social work
- Teaching experience at the college level in one or more of the areas stated above
- At least two years of post-MSW social work related experience
- Work experience related to the area of teaching interest
- Ability or interest in teaching online courses
- Familiarity with multicultural issues in service provision
