Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Assistant Teacher to join our Orchestra team at Bethany Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and a desire to help students learn and grow in their musical abilities. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Orchestra Teacher in planning and implementing lessons and activities for students
- Work with individual students and small groups to provide support and guidance in their musical development
- Help maintain the Orchestra classroom and equipment, ensuring that all instruments are in good working order
- Assist with the organization and execution of concerts and other performances
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Music education or music major from a major university
- Experience working with middle school students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques
- Ability to play multiple instruments, including stringed instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for concerts and performances
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
