GENERAL PURPOSE
The Academic Support and Success Coach will develop and deliver academic support coaching to students in clinical sequences of the Allied Health Sciences programs (CVT, NMT, and Respiratory Care programs), in order to support student retention in the programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with program directors and department chair to identify unmet learning needs and other barriers to students' competency achievement, and develops strategies to address these.
- Delivers services to individual students and groups of students to support academic success, understanding of academic expectations and competency achievement.
- Evaluates outcomes of interventions delivered.
- Participates in recruitment, orientation, department, school and university events, and marketing, including social media.
- Supports academic advisement with guidance from program directors.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (Healthcare or clinical background; teaching background strongly preferred)
- 3-5 years of work related experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point)
- Social Media

SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $32.00 to $36.00. This hourly range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
