Description
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the projects and tasks for the Marketing and Admissions teams at Keuka College. This position will oversee the use of project management tools and ensure effective communication and collaboration between the two teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Utilize project management tools, specifically Trello, to manage the workflow of incoming projects and organize them based on priority and department.
- Attend meetings and communicate with campus departments, outside clients, and students to clarify project requirements and manage incoming changes and updates.
- Create detailed project plans with the AVP of Marketing and Communications and assign team members to specific tasks.
- Develop and maintain accurate timelines for project completion and monitor progress to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Establish and maintain relationships with campus departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Check in with team members during the duration of a project and provide support as needed.
- Use Trello to track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Help answer team members' questions about projects by working with the person/department that submitted the project request.
- Review projects with the AVP of Marketing and Communications and ensure that completed projects are archived properly for future reference.
- Monitor the organization of project files and folders in the team's shared drive to ensure easy navigation and access.
- Always understand and behave with a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality. Ability to be sensitive to and respond to the needs and concerns of all constituents of the College including but not limited to students, faculty, college staff and the public, the ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically using Trello or other project management tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with marketing and admissions strategies in higher education is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some evening and weekend hours are required.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
