Job Description:

Position introduction

Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities by reaching out to global technology companies to partner with and invest in. Directly support the head of corporate development in high-stake deal execution and strategic decision-making.

Position Responsibilities

  • Market and industry research: Research and synthesize industry trends, competitive landscape, value chain, and potential target companies to assist the long-term corporate strategy
  • Deal sourcing & Pipeline development: Identify and reach out to the companies with strong strategic and business value proposition, with a focus on technology capability
  • Ecosystem engagement: Develop and maintain communication with deep tech investors and entrepreneurs in APAC area
  • Due diligence: Facilitate cross-functional (legal, finance, product, etc.) due diligence workstreams to synthesize and evaluate information on target companies
  • Presentation Preparation: Prepare clear and compelling presentations and investment memorandum for investment committee (IC), senior management and executives to support decision-making
  • Portfolio management: Support the development and maintenance of the partnership and investment deal pipeline, including tracking potential targets and managing their status
  • Strategic initiatives: Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects, which may include new product partnership development and execution

Position requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer engineering, or a related STEM field; Prefer candidates with advanced degrees (master, Ph.D., post-doc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English
  • Self-motivated and strong execution with ownership and result-oriented mindset
  • Genuine curiosity in the newest technology
  • Critical thinker
  • Strong sense of integrity
  • Prefer candidates with knowledge and understanding of semiconductor and AI industry technology, trend and market landscape
  • Prefer candidates with prior internship or work experience in venture capital, private equity, or management consulting
