Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Long-term Special Education Substitute Teacher at Park Elementary beginning May 13, 2026 through June 5, 2026.
It is preferred that candidates hold an EBD licensure from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensure options. The salary range for this position is $32.69 per hour to $60.88 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and a retirement plan with employer contributions.
Park Elementary School is located near downtown Hutchinson, serving approximately 400 students in grades 4 and 5. We have a qualified, exceptional staff working together to provide consistent research-based instruction while tailoring learning to individual needs. Grade levels collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, library, technology, keyboarding, art, and science as well as Gifted/Talented, Special Education, and Title 1 to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Additionally, extended-day and extended-year classes are also offered. Park Elementary believes T.I.G.E.R.S. which stands for Teamwork, Independence, Grit, Everyone Counts, Responsible, and Self-Control.
