Job Description

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced CRNA for a PRN position in New Brunswick, NJ

Schedule is 12,14, and 16 hour shifts.  To be considered you must consistently work 24-40 hrs per week.

Compensation $225 Hr

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will play a vital role in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. This position requires a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment, along with the ability to manage airways effectively and monitor patients throughout their procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
  • Manage airway complications and provide emergency interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided to each patient.
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices.

Experience

  • A valid NJ license as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist is required.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to anesthesia practice.
  • Experience in airway management techniques and patient monitoring during procedures.
  • Previous experience administering injections and conducting patient assessments in a hospital environment is highly desirable.
