BLT is seeking an experienced and dynamic Resident Services Manager to join our luxury community located in Jersey City. Primarily responsible for managing customer support, the Resident Services Manager builds a successful team of associates and staff members dedicated to achieving the community’s resident retention and customer service goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Resident Services Manager:
- Achieves the community’s resident satisfaction and retention goals by ensuring resident inquiries are resolved in a professional and timely manner.
- Facilitates professional and friendly atmosphere that exceeds resident expectations.
- Develop, produce, and coordinate resident communications including but not limited to newsletters, surveys, and lease violation notices.
- Fosters productive community relationships through collaboration with local groups, restaurants, retailers, and services.
- Coordinate programs to enhance the health, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents.
- Plan, promote and coordinate community-boosting resident events and activities. Offer incentives to boost participation and encourage residents to bring guests.
- Identify strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of customer service.
- Ensures initiatives are implemented, communicates follow-up actions and feedback with staff.
- Monitors and enforces compliance with all pertinent company policies, procedures, and standards. Reporting all incidents, violations, equipment malfunctions, accidents, injuries, or safety concerns. Implements corrective measures as necessary.
Qualifications / Skills Required for the position of Resident Services Manager:
- 3-5 years of managing people in a customer service-oriented environment
- 1+ years experience working in residential real estate required
- Commitment to deliver outstanding customer service
- Flexible team player with good supervisory and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED, College education preferred
