The Pump Integration Manager works closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure pump systems meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")

  • Lead pump integration activities for power generation equipment, including specification review, design coordination, installation requirements, controls interfaces, and system validation.

  • Manage multiple pump integration projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and performance targets are met.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for pump technologies, including centrifugal, positive displacement, high pressure, and specialty pumps used in industrial and power applications.

  • Provide technical direction to mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers on pump system requirements, performance expectations, and interface specifications.

  • Oversee the development of pump related engineering documentation, including P&IDs, wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, system flow diagrams, and control logic requirements.

  • Partner with design engineering to ensure pump selections meet hydraulic, thermal, mechanical, and operational requirements.

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support pump installation, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate pump technologies, review specifications, validate performance data, and support vendor qualification.

  • Coordinate with quality teams on inspection standards, acceptance criteria, and non conformance resolution.

  • Interface with customers during design reviews, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and post delivery technical support.

  • Oversee pump performance testing and verification, including flow, pressure, vibration, noise, and motor compatibility.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for pump performance issues, mechanical failures, vibration problems, cavitation, control system irregularities, and operational inefficiencies.

  • Provide technical support during FAT, SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and commissioning—both internally and customer facing.

  • Ensure pump systems comply with applicable industry standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEEE, etc.).

  • Identify and address quality issues related to pump integration, component performance, or system interactions.

  • Drive corrective actions, implement process improvements, and refine integration protocols.

  • Maintain adherence to all safety, environmental, and health policies related to rotating equipment and system integration.

  • Develop best practices for pump installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians involved in pump integration activities.
