Martinsville High School Summer School

 

Students who were enrolled in ninth through twelfth grades during the 2025-2026 academic school year have the opportunity to attend summer school.

 

All high school summer sessions will be held at Martinsville High School.

 

Project Graduation Summer Academy __Review and Retake SOL Courses

 

Eligible Students: Those students who have passed the course, yet did not pass the SOL test for the course are given an opportunity to review course materials and retake the SOL test at no cost.

 

 

Teacher planning/training/set-up: May 26-29, Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

 

Summer School for Verified Credit:

Monday-Thursday, June 1-25; Monday-Thursday-SOL testing window opens June 8-June 25, Time: 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

 

Summer School for Credit Recovery: 

Monday-Thursday, June 1-25, 8:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.

 

Courses: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, World History & Geography to 1500

A.D., World History & Geography: 1500 A.D. to Present, VA & US History, English 11__ Reading
