Our team of engineers perform rigorous tests with our athletes year round. The data we collect from performance testing and our application of that knowledge to our product is what separates FOX from every other suspension company.  

  

Position Overview:  

The R&D Test Technician II is responsible for complete assembly and build validation of prototype shocks. Prepare tear down reports for OEM customer field durability. Support application, design and test engineering.  

  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:  

· Maintain vehicle shop area and storage  

· Manage/maintain small parts inventory   

· Manage vehicle fleet (including service/maintenance), bookings, and booking system  

· Assist tuners with vehicle preparation prior to testing  

· Transport test vehicles from Braselton to east coast test locations  

· Keep records of DOT requirements and maintain log books  

· Interface with finance and DMV to keep licensing up to date  

· Assist test engineers with fixture development and setup  

· Machining prototype shock components and lab fixtures  

· Operate test lab equipment such as: hydraulic equipment, tensile tester, and environmental test equipment  

· Provide technician support to test engineers  

· Perform small to moderate quantity shock builds   

· Perform shock tear downs and thoroughly document findings  

· Assist in preparing test samples for lab testing  

  

Requirements/ Qualifications:  

· Minimum of 2 years of technician experience

· Mechanical aptitude and wiling to learn new tasks  

· High level of organizational skills  

· Ability to meet tight time lines when needed  

· Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision  

· Highest level of integrity, honesty and work ethic  

· Detail oriented  

· Service minded and contribute to a one-team atmosphere  

· High school diploma   

· Enthusiasm about and experience with Fox products  

  

Preferred:  

· Associates/Technical Degree preferred  

· Racing and/or shock experience is valued  

· Experience working in Excel and Word

· At least 3 years machining experience preferred
