Expediter

  • Part time
  • $17 - $21 / Hour

Description:

As an Expediter you would report directly to the Manager. You would be responsible for assuring quality standards for all Baker’s Crust Bagel menu items, validating and packaging orders for dine-in customers, to-go customers and delivery orders. You would also maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and positive, team-oriented work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service. 

 Expediter Responsibilities:

  1. Follow all Baker’s Crust Bagel procedures and standards.
  2. Validate accuracy of orders and food preparation following Baker’s Crust Bagel quality standards while following health and safety guidelines.
  3. Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
  4. Set up, restock, organize, clean and maintain work-space. 
  5. Perform other assigned duties from the management. 
  6. Engage with guests when appropriate with a positive and hospitable attitude.

Expediter Requirements:

  1. Attention to detail in all aspects of preparation, execution.
  2. Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal.
  3. Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  4. Maintain proper uniform standards and a hospitable, positive attitude.
  5. Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
  6. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
