Role Summary

For this role we are looking for a candidate who is capable of converting business requirements in innovative warehouse solution, detailed design of warehouse layout and warehouse process. Our ideal candidate has excellent creative and analytical skills, is a flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality.

Key Responsibilities

The main goal of the role is to develop and implement state-of-the-art warehouse solutions in Europe and CIS. Translate new business needs into leading warehousing solutions. Support the WMS development roadmap and implementation program. Operate in a team of advanced logistics experts that design and implement logistics solutions for Samsung and other customers.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Support innovation projects in current SDS warehouses in Europe and CIS;
  • Support new business projects and have a leading role in warehouse (re) design, fit-out and resource calculation;
  • Understand and analyze customer data translate into understandable process improvements and innovations;
  • Designing robust and technically feasible logistics concepts for new business in warehousing;
  • Focus on further enhancement of SDS in-house Cello WMS for existing customers;
  • Be the interface between local warehouse operations teams in Europe and the development team in Korea;
  • Gather information regarding new processes, IT systems or trends in the market in order to have up to date knowledge

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Master degree in Logistics/SCM or from a technical university;
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics engineering (warehouse layout and process design) and/or data analysis;
  • 3+ years experience in a LSP environment and relevant role;
  • Conceptual and analytical thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start;
  • Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets;
  • A proficient level of English;
  • Good MS Office skills;
  • Experience with WMS systems;
  • Open to other cultures and social;
  • Travelling will be required in this role.
