POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Supervisor, Document Control position is responsible for quality and production documentation review, product release, and ensuring all customer/ regulatory documentation requirements are communicated to the Quality Department and sent to the customer as required. Additionally, the Document Control Supervisor will be assisting Quality management team in all 3rd party inspections by providing all documentations during these inspections.

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Fort Worth, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain review & oversee data and documentation in DrinkPAK’s Quality Doc Management systems.
  • Administer the Document Control Team, Schedule and Attendance.
  • Administer the established data base within Smartsheet's
  • Assist and participate in Customer & GFSI Audits. 
  • Oversee Document Control management system
  • Maintain, Oversee and review data and documentation for both in-process and finished goods. Provide documentation to customers and DrinkPAK departments.
  • Oversee Document Control technicians.
  • Work with groups within the organization to obtain up-to-date and accurate documentation supporting ongoing projects. Daily activities could support the new product introduction process, technical customer response, and other documentation.
  • Work within established processes and procedures to improve the flow of information within DrinkPAK and externally with customers. Assist with the development of these procedures and processes. 
  • Work with Quality leadership team on new product approval and customer requirements.
  • Work independently with various departments, including but not limited to Logistics, Quality, and Operations
  • Always ensure the accuracy of data and documentation.
  • Work with Quality leadership on all customer complaints and investigations.
  • Aid and improve Quality Management System across all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Document Control related role is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food industry required.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with customers, suppliers, and departments within a related role
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail oriented
  • PCQI Certified
