About the role:


As an Unarmed Security Professional at Extrity Services, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their premises. Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or Regional Manager, you will implement security protocols, monitor activities, and respond to incidents with professionalism and attention to detail. Your role is essential in upholding Extrity Services' commitment to operational excellence and professionalism. As an Events Team Member, you will be required to work across different client sites as needs arise; weekend availability is required. The position will be on call as needs and/or special events arise; there will be the ability for this to turn into a full time position.


What you'll be doing:

  • Adhere to the company's dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, arriving on time for assigned shifts.
  • Conduct yourself courteously and professionally with all clients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Enforce access control procedures and maintain records accurately.
  • Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain and report on the functionality of security equipment.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, following established protocols.
  • Document incidents accurately, preparing detailed reports.
  • Assist with investigations by providing timely information.
  • Provide truthful and timely data, including incident reports and shift reports.

What you'll bring:

  • An active and valid PERC card
  • An active and clear 20 Hour unarmed security license
  • Experience in conducting patrols, surveillance, and managing security incidents.
  • Knowledge of security equipment and its proper usage.
  • Understanding of emergency protocols and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with access control procedures and identification verification.
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures (not required).
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs as needed.
