Job Description

 Location: Chicago, IL (in-office)
Duration: 10 weeks (June–August)
Compensation: $1,000 per week (paid internship)
Time Commitment: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)


What You’ll Do

  • Support updates and improvements to existing computer science curriculum
  • Test lessons, activities, and assessments for clarity, accuracy, and student experience
  • Help create instructional materials such as examples, exercises, handouts, and activities
  • Review code examples and interactive elements to ensure correctness
  • Assist with organizing and documenting curriculum resources and updates
  • Research computer science standards and help with alignment under guidance from the team
  • Use AI tools to help brainstorm or draft curriculum content, while learning how to critically review outputs
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions

What We’re Looking For

  • Education, computer science, instructional design, or related experience, current students encouraged to apply
  • Interest in computer science education or education technology
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Clear written communication skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Introductory programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Experience tutoring, teaching, TA-ing, or creating educational content
  • Familiarity with K–12 education or computer science courses
