Location: Chicago, IL (in-office)
Duration: 10 weeks (June–August)
Compensation: $1,000 per week (paid internship)
Time Commitment: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
What You’ll Do
- Support updates and improvements to existing computer science curriculum
- Test lessons, activities, and assessments for clarity, accuracy, and student experience
- Help create instructional materials such as examples, exercises, handouts, and activities
- Review code examples and interactive elements to ensure correctness
- Assist with organizing and documenting curriculum resources and updates
- Research computer science standards and help with alignment under guidance from the team
- Use AI tools to help brainstorm or draft curriculum content, while learning how to critically review outputs
- Participate in curriculum reviews, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions
What We’re Looking For
- Education, computer science, instructional design, or related experience, current students encouraged to apply
- Interest in computer science education or education technology
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Clear written communication skills
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Introductory programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Experience tutoring, teaching, TA-ing, or creating educational content
- Familiarity with K–12 education or computer science courses
