Summary: 

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Communicate project objectives, requirements, and expectations to all stakeholders, and facilitate regular project meetings and updates.
  • Manage project budgets and financial forecasts, track expenses, and approve project expenditures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety protocols, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and efficient manner, and escalate as needed to senior management.
  • Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to clients and senior leadership.
