Start Time:  8:30am   End Time:  5:00pm


Job Description:


Summary: Under close supervision from dentist or high level dental assistant, performs duties in support of dental office and operatory functions, instructs dental students and assistants in proper clinical procedures and performs duties related to indirect patient treatment.


Minimum Qualifications:


Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education/experience/licensing:

• 12 months experience in dental office practices and procedures or completed a dental assisting program in lieu of experience.
• Current Radiology License
• Current Basic Life Support

Communication and other skills:

• Demonstrates clinical competency in caring for patients as identified in unit’s Scope of Care. Demonstrates competency in the care of the patient in the following stages of the life cycle: infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
• Effectively responds to customer service needs.
• Seeks out ways to assist patients and co-workers
• Actively participates in performance improvement activities as related to job duties
