ROLE DESCRIPTION
• The Executive Director Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Process Innovation to join and lead our Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Viking European Head Office in Basel
• The position is key in supporting dynamic operational growth by providing key stakeholders with insights for strategic decision making and resource allocation
• Executive Director FP&A and Process Innovation is responsible for continuous process optimization and championing AI-driven initiatives
• The position report to the Vice President Ocean Accounting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead a small group of Senior Experts in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead all strategic short- and long-term financial planning & budgeting activities
• Drive innovation projects, implementation of AI-driven solutions across FP&A, serve as a senior AI innovation expert for Leadership team in the Finance Department
• Provide key insights into market trends
• Lead continuous process improvement, harmonization of the planning process, identify cost optimizations and opportunities for implementation of new solutions
• Partner with Key stakeholders to understand and deliver relevant forecasts based on accurate assumptions
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• 10-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of experience in FP&A with a strong focus on digital innovation, documented experience in leading AI-innovation projects is strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and people development experience
• Ability to translate financial drivers into actionable insights, strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Strong project management skills and documented experience in process optimization projects
• Detail oriented, accuracy driven and process-oriented thinking
• A hands-on approach with a make-it-happen mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English
EDUCATION
• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
