In the Assistant Project Manager phase, this role will focus on project coordination, permitting, procurement support, scheduling, documentation, and operational logistics. As experience and proficiency are demonstrated, responsibilities will progressively expand into full project ownership including budget management, customer communication, project forecasting, and team leadership.

This position averages 40 hours per week and requires minimal travel to jobsites. This is an in-office role based in our headquarters in Bozeman, Montana, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager. Previous Experience and Required Skills

We are seeking candidates with 2–5+ years of professional experience in construction, project coordination, project management, or related operational roles. Experience working for a General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, or specialty subcontractor is strongly preferred.

Prior solar industry experience is helpful but not required. We are happy to train candidates with strong construction or subcontractor experience from adjacent trades.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
