Staffing Coordinator HR Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staffing Coordinator HR Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for overseeing all staffing needs, supporting the hiring process, and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all staffing needs of the company, including recruitment, orientation, and placement of employees

  • Support candidate screening and hiring processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

  • Facilitate procedures after hiring, including employee floor training and onboarding

  • Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires

  • Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions, ensuring adequate staffing levels

  • Assume responsibility for timekeeping and time off requests, ensuring accurate and timely processing

  • Initiate payroll to ensure correct employee compensation, staying up-to-date with changing laws and regulations

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations, maintaining confidentiality at all times

  • Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations, providing insights to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position, preferably in a SNF setting

  • Experience in planning and execution of HR plans, including onboarding and hiring processes

  • Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and external vendors

  • Reliable with a respect to confidentiality, able to handle sensitive information with discretion
