Role Overview:
We’re seeking an exceptional Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of our high-power (2kV // 7kA) non-invasive TMS neuromodulation system. You’ll drive the architecture of the world’s most efficient, scalable brain stimulator—improving our current system while designing a next-gen v2. This is a hands-on role for a 10x engineer passionate about mental health, with the opportunity to build a team as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Integration: Define system architecture, integrate subsystems.
- Circuit Design: Design and lay out control circuit boards and other key electronics.
- Firmware Development: Program in C++
- Component & Compliance: Specify components, ensure regulatory standards.
- Testing & Risk: Develop tests, manage safety risks, build to medical device standards.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee contractors, collaborate with vendors.
- Documentation & Improvement: Maintain records, drive design improvements.
