Job Description

Purpose of Position

The Tax Analyst, Senior performs tasks associated with the tax compliance, tax analysis and tax controversy functions for U.S. multinational corporation and foreign subsidiaries in area of specialization or as assigned.  The Tax Analyst, Senior supports Director, Tax by reviewing (and preparing as needed) tax returns and filings; gathering information for and coordinating tax audits; reviewing, and preparing as needed, income tax provision and supporting calculations, and performing supervised tax research. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of complicated tax returns and consolidation of Federal income tax returns, as required 
  • Under supervision of management, perform and coordinate tax accounting function and associated calculations
  • Under supervision of management, gather, review and prepare responses for tax audits and coordinate audit activity with tax authorities
  • Perform tax research as required

  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field of taxation required, including experience in the areas of tax controversy, tax research and tax compliance
  • Knowledge of taxation and tax concepts required
  • Tax accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with preparation and review of federal and multi-state income tax compliance required
