Job Description
On-Call Studio ROCKS Teacher
Location: Columbia Rd, Washington, DC
Reports to: OST Program Manager
Position Type: Full-time , Non-Exempt
Salary: $19.20/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (split shift). Must be available for full 8-hour shifts during school closures (winter, spring, summer camps).

Position Summary:
The Studio R.O.C.K.S. Teacher will collaborate with the program's leadership team to facilitate the curriculum for the before and after-school extended learning program. The teacher will manage grade-level classes, lead project-based learning activities, and ensure student safety.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute all curricula with high energy, actively engaging all students.
- Manage grade-level classes and studios.
- Track student progress on literacy and math software.
- Input daily student attendance and meal counts.
- Provide student drop-off and pick-up services to feeder schools.
- Communicate with parents about student progress as needed.
- Supervise students and follow all dismissal procedures.
- Collaborate with the Studio R.O.C.K.S. leadership team.

Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience working with school-age children.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, is needed.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of employment and maintain them.
- Possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Must be flexible regarding schedules and tasks.
