Territory Sales Manager – Compressed Air Systems – Arkansas Industrial Machinery Inc. (AIM)
Territory: Monroe, LA to Mississippi State Line; South to Alexandria, LA

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to lead business development efforts for our Compressed Air Systems within a defined Louisiana territory. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with experience in capital equipment (CAPEX) and air compressor or pump solutions, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical sales expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Manage and grow key accounts by fostering strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to evaluate market trends and drive performance
  • Create and execute territory strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Proactively follow up on all quotes to ensure customer satisfaction and track outcomes
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in outside technical sales, preferably in industrial or mechanical equipment
  • Demonstrated success in account management and business development
  • Experience with CAPEX sales and air compressors/pumps strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance competitive positioning and profitability
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the territory
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
