Partnership Health an outpatient Family Medicine Practice is seeking an experienced Full Time Family Medicine or Med/Peds Physician for an outpatient office in Brick.
We are open only to the employees of the Brick Township School system.
Our offices offer onsite Family medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavioral Health.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient practice. The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This role focuses exclusively on outpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment with an emphasis on quality, continuity, and preventive medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients ages 2 and above in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
Scope of Practice
- Outpatient-only practice
- No inpatient rounding
- Typical patient panel includes adults and children 2 and above
- Procedures may include
- Annual physicals and wellness exams
- Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma)
- Minor in-office procedures (e.g., joint injections, skin biopsies, wound care)
- Preventive care, immunizations, and health screenings
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time
- Shift 4 – 10 hour shifts during the week 8am-6pm
- Outpatient clinic setting with dedicated clinical and administrative support
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active New Jersey state medical license
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
Preferred:
- Prior outpatient primary care experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Experience with EMR systems
