    Key Responsibilities

    Student Supervision:
    • Oversee students during study halls, ensuring a productive atmosphere conducive to learning.
    • Supervise students during lunch periods in the cafeteria and designated eating areas, promoting respectful behavior and cleanliness.
    • Monitor hallways, restrooms, and common areas to ensure student safety and adherence to school policies.
    Safety and Security:
    • Manage building access by monitoring entrances and exits, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
    • Assist in implementing and enforcing school safety protocols, including emergency procedures.
    • Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to the building principal or school resource officer.
    Student Support:
    • Provide assistance to students as needed, addressing questions and guiding them to appropriate resources.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive environment by building rapport with students and encouraging respectful interactions.
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' academic and behavioral needs during non-instructional times.
    Administrative Duties:
    • Take and record student attendance during supervised periods.
    • Maintain accurate records of incidents, behavioral issues, and any interventions implemented.
    • Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and any concerns that arise.
