Position Overview:
Knoch School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Substitute School Nurse for a K-12 setting. The Substitute School Nurse plays a critical role in maintaining the health and wellness of our students and staff by providing compassionate and skilled nursing care when the regular school nurse is unavailable.

 

Qualifications:

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    CPR/First Aid Certification

    
    
  
  
  • Current Act 34, 114 & 151 Clearances upon hiring
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Preferred:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Experience working with school-aged children in a healthcare or school setting

    
    
  
  
  
  

Responsibilities Include:

• 
  

  Providing first aid and nursing care to students and staff

  Administering medications and managing health plans

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining accurate health records and documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Responding to emergencies and coordinating care with medical personnel as needed

  Communicating with families regarding student health concerns as needed

  Supporting a healthy and safe school environment

  
  

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
