    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • CT Certification Required - 113 or 165
    • Preference to candidates with early childhood experience
    • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
    • Ability to
      • Understand the developmental expectations for students of different ages
      • Design and execute lessons focused on early literacy, math, science, and social skills
      • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
      • Observe children to track progress and identify potential developmental delays or behavioral issues

    POSITION DETAILS: 

    The Pre-K teacher prepares children (typically ages 3-5) for kindergarten by implementing play-based, educational curricula that develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Key responsibilities include creating lesson plans, monitoring development, maintaining safety, and communicating with parents.
