Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for a Landscape/Horticulturalist. The ideal candidates are results-driven, passionate about the green industry and contributing to growth. 

Job Summary

Plans and schedule for day-to-day operation of the Installation/Horticultural Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Apply general and accepted practices for installation, pruning, fertilizing disease/fungus control and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.
• To work and oversee up to 2 crew members.
• Responsible for paper work, documentation, photographs, client recommendations and scheduling site visits.
• Perform change order estimates for clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ year experience in landscape installation, maintenance and horticulture or related field. 
• Skilled in proper pruning techniques and general garden bed maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.
• Proper use of both organic and chemical treatment for disease and insect control.
• Valid driver's license
• Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one 
• Pesticide and/or MCLP licenses a plus
