As part of our growth, we are looking for Personalisation Expert in Malta where you will be part of a global team fighting fraud and piracy!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary focus of the Personalisation Expert is to:
· Provide and maintain personalisation printing software, programs, inspection hardware and personalisation hardware,
· Provide customer data for the shop floor using secure database interactions,
· Set up, configure and act as an on-site administrator for multiple secure numbering systems using different database structures,
· Administer and control the process flow of secure and sensitive customer data,
· Liaise with central information system and third parties with respect to new systems and integration between different hardware,
· Develop new methods for efficiency gains within the production environment,
· Deliver performance to agreed quality, cost and delivery targets, using relevant Lean Manufacturing Tools and actively drive Continuous Improvement to improve quality and production efficiencies
· Responsible for the effective training and development of employees in the area including coaching and mentoring of end users.
The Personalisation Expert will also be:
• Assisting and working with customers on new projects, parts and products,
• Assisting and support the business in any technical areas of personalisation and inspection
• Assisting in data preparation for auditing purposes
• Assisting in both internal and external traceability data extraction requests
• Assisting in the transition to new personalisation technologies
• Supporting Personalisation and Production front line management with day to day activities (e.g. Reports, production support, etc.)
• Delivering and supporting short and medium term plans for the area which seek to achieve continuous improvement through the use of innovative ideas and new technologies.
• Supporting the behaviour of working as One De La Rue, sharing best practice, fostering networks and collaborating with colleagues across the business to resolve issues
· Supporting New Product Introduction and R&D trial requirements.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
· Graduate in IT, Engineering or related discipline,
· Strong ability in mathematics,
· Knowledge and capability on object orientated languages, C# preferred,
· Knowledge of scripting techniques,
· Knowledge of various operating systems including legacy ones,
· Database knowledge, SQL minimum, other structures advantageous,
· Experience setting up hardware systems and their associated software,
· Knowledge of camera-based inspection systems considered a plus,
· Experience integrating hardware and software,
· Interest in Industry 4.0 considered a plus,
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office
