Duties
The selectee will report to an assigned DOL office location on a regular basis. This is not a remote position. Offices are located in Cleveland, OH, Kansas City, MO, Jacksonville, FL, or Washington, D.C. Advertised salary reflects the pay range for the above locations. Upon selection, the salary will be set in accordance with the selectee's assigned duty location. As a Training Analyst you will: Conduct training and oversight of outreach material content development, new media, web communications, and direct customer service training activities in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and published DEEOIC policy and procedure guidance. Assist National Office, District Offices, Final Adjudication Branch (FAB) Office and Resource Centers with developing content, and provides instructions for implementing training on policy, procedures and operations. Study program operations, new legislation, automated systems, management initiatives, and the operation of interacting programs and organizations to assist in the development of new and modified program, process and systems operating instructions and training materials. Analyze and evaluate on a quantitative and qualitative basis, the effectiveness of training programs and materials in meeting established goals and objectives. Prepare and give oral presentations to various audiences both within and outside of DOL.

For GS-13: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying specialized experience for GS-13 includes: Using customer service and adult learning principles and practices to develop and provide training. Incorporating technical insurance or workers' compensation content into the training ensuring that training is specific and relevant to intended audiences. Utilizing traditional training methods/tools as well as media strategies including social media, online video, podcasts, electronic newsletters, mobile devices and/or interactive user websites to market the organization's programs. Assesses program needs in order to complete plans, develop and deliver content to ensure benefits to a varying audience.
