    TITLE:  Band Front                

    REPORTS TO:  Band Director

    JOB GOAL:  To assist the Band Director with teaching and managing the Band Front.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Conducts extra after-school rehearsals to ensure quality performances.

    2. Keeps accurate attendance records of rehearsals and performances.

    3. Helps in designing the flags and other dramatic visual effects.

    4. Rehearses and teaches the full Color Guard and individuals techniques, fundamentals, and show routines. 

    5. Assists during summer band camp.

    6. Demonstrates necessary routines and can model performance expected.

    7. Makes sure band front equipment and supplies are ready for performances.

    8. Assists on the field to improve performance.

    9. Maintains discipline and authority over students according to the Lake Forest Discipline Policy Manual.

    10. Performs other duties as assigned by the band director or building principal that relate to this position.


    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Terms are in accordance with provisions of the Negotiate Agreement on EPER employment.


    EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Negotiated Agreement on EPER evaluations.
