St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking compassionate PRN State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team at our scenic Portage Lakes campus near Turkeyfoot Lake in Akron, Ohio.
Our campus offers a smaller, close-knit setting with lower-acuity residents, allowing caregivers to provide meaningful, personalized care without the fast-paced stress of larger facilities.
PRN team members enjoy the flexibility to pick up shifts based on availability and facility needs, making this a great opportunity for STNAs looking to supplement income or maintain a flexible schedule.
PRN Schedule
Flexible scheduling based on staffing needs. Available shifts include:
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
PRN STNA Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Support meal service and assist with feeding when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and the care team
Requirements
- Active Ohio STNA certification
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Candidates must complete a pre-employment physical and BCI fingerprinting background check.
