Parts & Service Sales Representative (PSSR)
Department: Sales
Reports To: General Manager / Sales Manager
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Location: Southern Nevada / Kingman / Bullhead City
Position Summary
The Parts & Service Sales Representative (PSSR) is responsible for driving parts and service
revenue growth within an assigned territory by developing strong customer relationships and
acting as a trusted advisor. This position focuses on identifying customer needs, promoting parts
and service solutions, and supporting customer equipment uptime through proactive field
engagement.
The PSSR works closely with customers, branch parts and service teams, and equipment sales to
ensure Goodfellow Corporation delivers a consistent, high-value customer experience while
increasing parts and service market share.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on growing parts, wear parts, and service revenue
• Maintain regular, proactive contact with customers through on site visits, phone calls, and
follow-up communication
• Identify parts consumption, wear patterns, and service needs by reviewing customer equipment
condition and utilization
• Promote preventive maintenance programs, service labor, component repairs, rebuilds, and
inspection services
• Prepare, present, and follow up on parts and service quotes in a timely and professional manner
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer parts and service needs within the assigned
territory
• Build strong relationships with key decision makers, including owners, plant managers, and
maintenance supervisors
• Collaborate closely with branch Parts, Service, and Equipment Sales teams to coordinate
solutions and support customer needs
• Accurately document customer activity, opportunities, equipment population, and call reports
in the CRM system
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues by coordinating with internal departments as
needed
• Identify opportunities with owners of competitive equipment to capture parts and service
business
• Assist with branch initiatives as required
Key Performance Expectations
• Increase parts and service sales within the assigned territory
• Maintain consistent field activity and customer coverage
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
• Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
• Support high levels of customer retention and repeat business
Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard computer applications (Microsoft Office,
Google Workspace)
Preferred
• Two or more years of parts, service, or sales experience in heavy equipment, aggregates,
construction, or industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of crusher, screen, and material handling equipment
• Prior experience in an equipment dealership environment
Work Environment
This position operates primarily from a company vehicle and involves frequent visits to customer
job sites, including sand and gravel pits, quarries, mines, and industrial facilities. Work
environments may include exposure to dust, noise, vibration, outdoor weather conditions, and
uneven terrain. Occasional time will be spent in the branch parts department, service shop, or
customer offices.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and navigate uneven job-site conditions
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
Travel Requirements
Travel is required within the assigned territory on a regular basis. Overnight travel may be
required occasionally, depending on territory size and customer location.
