Position Summary- Paid Internship, Possible Hire on
This Intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing to lead the strategic planning and direct the promotional and advertising campaigns of our Company in order to generate interest in our complete range of mechanical services. This job is fast paced and exciting, and is perfect for someone who likes to be part of a high performing, visible team dedicated to great work and the company’s cultural journey. We are looking for someone to work 10-15 hours/week. You will work to help build an existing program up utilizing your proven skills to lead our continued growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning sales and marketing scheme for local sites, assist in the day-to-day coordination and execution of local sales programs through direct marketing, events, social media, display advertising, mobile transactions, search engine marketing and email. Your goal is to help us develop new business opportunities in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Qualifications
- College coursework with specialization in marketing and/or communications preferred or equivalent years of experience within field may be considered i
- Excellent rapport and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with direct marketing, event sales, social media, display advertising, mobile transactions, search engine marketing and email campaigns
- Proficient with and high level usage of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Well-versed in knowledge of sales, methods, channels and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Ability to work with multiple groups effectively
- Knowledge of presentation and or graphic design software is a plus
