Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for our Hill Air Force Base, Utah facility!
What You Will Be Doing
•Integrates with the host squadron, advises host squadron of schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to squadron aircraft.
•Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
•Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes maintenance completion certificates as required.
•Candidate will supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Civil Service, Military, and Lockheed Martin employees.
•Coordinates/directs daily operations with applicable maintenance leads adjusting maintenance priorities and highlighting/resolving constraints to keep aircraft on schedule.
•Must be able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively navigating constraints and project completion dates.
•Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, local operating instructions, and all Lockheed Martin Aeronautics instructions.
•Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Ensures good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced.
•Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs.
•Candidate must be able to deploy to lead field teams at various locations worldwide for extended periods of time.
Conflict Resolution: You have the capability to navigate and resolve disputes effectively, maintaining team cohesion and productivity.
•Security Clearance Required. Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
•Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
•Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
•At least 6 years overall aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Depot/Field Team Operations.
•Experience with such programs as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information Systems, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.
Desired skills
•F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience
•Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience
•Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur.
•Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels throughout the OO-ALC structure to include Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Support Managers.
•Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products.
•Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.
•Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures.
•Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
