GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the Child Development Center at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

• Assist lead teacher with curriculum planning to include the development of lesson plans, classroom arrangement, and enhancement    of the classroom.
• Supervise the classroom and direct classroom activities.
• Facilitate a variety of learning experiences where children can manipulate and explore a variety of materials and experience success.
• Gather necessary supplies and materials ahead of time.
• Guide children in the proper care of materials.
• Acts as a positive role model.
• Observe and record children’s behavior as directed.
• Use appropriate transition techniques.
• Promote children’s learning by supporting children’s ideas and progressive skill development.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
HS diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with one year full time experience in a NAEYC accredited program.
