Reports To: Pump Integration Lead



Location: Ponca City, OK



Amount of Travel Required: None



Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Pump Integration Technician supports the installation, assembly, inspection, and basic testing of pump systems used in power generation and industrial equipment packages. This is an entry level role focused on learning pump components, integration processes, and safety fundamentals while assisting experienced technicians with hands on tasks. The technician will perform basic mechanical and instrumentation duties as directed and help ensure pump systems meet quality and operational requirements.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")




  • Assist with the installation and assembly of pumps, motors, couplings, valves, and related hardware.

  • Help prepare pump systems for integration, including mounting components, routing hoses, and basic alignment tasks.

  • Support senior technicians in testing and verifying basic system functions such as flow direction, pressure readings, and connection integrity.

  • Perform simple mechanical tasks such as bolting, torquing, cleaning components, and preparing assemblies.

  • Conduct basic inspections of pump components for damage, cleanliness, and proper fit.

  • Record test results, inspection findings, and work performed on standardized forms.

  • Notify senior technicians or leads of any abnormalities or issues.

  • Learn pump fundamentals including terminology, pump types, safety requirements, and mechanical principles.

  • Train on reading basic P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.

  • Develop competency with hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments.

  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safe operations.

  • Assist in identifying quality concerns and report issues to the Lead or Senior Technician.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
